Thanks Wayne and Vincent for your comments and "admires". This image began as a "throw-away" that I decided to play with to see if any of it was salvageable. I was both surprised and delighted with the result.

I fine mix of textures and tints. Very effective. Kudos. -- Bruce

Giangioragio -- Love this shot ...especially the soft blur of the wings against the soft edges of the morning sky. Two questions ...what was your mm on your telephoto lens and did you use a tripod?)

Peter -- Thank you for your comments. The Cliff Dwellings in New Mexico can be a very mystical place, which is difficult to capture. This is as close as I've gotten so far. Thanks again. I first saw your work a few days ago and enjoyed it. I look forward to further postings. -- Regards, Bruce

Thank you Daniel for your comments. Judging from your portfolio we share affinities to similar subject matter ...doors, window, and portals in general. We also seem to share styles of processing. I really enjoyed looking through your portfolio. I've looked and enjoyed you work in the past. I look forward to future postings. Regards --- Bruce

Daniel -- Thank you so much for your generous and kind comments. The COVID hiatus has given me a chance to revisit work from the last 20 years and refine past images but I also discovered many quality images which for one reason or another I had passed over. I use a full range of software ... Photoshop plus the Nik tools. I try to make my adjustments without leaving too many obvious processing footprints (Mostly over saturation and over sharpening being the most common that I see.) I liked the work of yours that I've seen and will revisit. Keep posting.

I like the top 2/3rds of the image very much.

A wonderful image. Clean, sharp, great light and texture. A keeper for sure. Kudos -- Bruce

I like this a lot. I've noticed on this, and a couple of other images the textured background. Did you use Photoshop (or Lightroom) for the effect or another program and filter. I like the effect. -- Bruce

Richard -- thank you so much for your kind comments. I always look forward to seeing your recently posted work ...especially the shore shots (an area where I've mixed results. ) Keep shooting!!

Thanks Patrick for the comment. It works upside-down also.

A very nice mix of light and dark, soft and hard textured, strong and subdued colors. Very nice indeed. -- Bruce

I can almost feel the water flowing. Wonderful texture. -- Kudos, Bruce

Thanks again Larry. Yes, they are faintly visible but I doubt that one would see them if one's not looking. I can't figure out where they're coming from. I took this image on my cellphone which is very unusual. It is in the original .jpg (still don't shoot raw on the phone). I haven't seen it in other phone images. It reminds me of scans of printed pages sometimes show bleed through from the reverse side.

This is a repost of an earlier image that was seriously flawed. Thanks to Larry for pointing out the deficiencies.

Really like this one with the backlight with the texture of the snow. Bien.

This is a wonderful photo but I find that the stark white border overwhelms your image. Otherwise -- Kudos ---- Bruce
