  1. Though I'm less and less attracted by vivid colors, this one works for me.

Harmony of magenta-bluish hues is incredible.

But curious as I'm, I'd like to know why did you choose such a long exposure time?

  2. That day a very strong wind played with clouds and ice of this attractive

lake in the Massif of Belledonne (1917m). To capture this particular

atmosphere I chose to use the ND400 filter to get 30 seconds of

exposure. The gradual neutral grey filter was used as well to reduce the

    luminosity of the sky.

Thanks to all for your time.

It is a great pleasure to read your comments.

I'll share with you a little secret. Firstly I've named this image "From the Dark Side". "Matrix" was given to it by Vincent Favre when he saw it for the first time.

So since then it is "Matrix".

This tiny spot of pines, planted in rows, has nothing spectacular. I've

passed by many times on my way to Herisson (means "hedgehog" in

French) cascades in Jura region, France. But that July morning the light

coming through was quite nice and I tried to accentuate this magical

transformation by using a zooming technique. Did I succeed?

I like this soft pastel colors (that changes from all oversaturated images seen here) and your composition is great, very dynamic.

    Congratulations!

Dramatic capture, desolated location, but greenish foreground doesn't work for me.

Sorry, Simon, I just don't like the color association.

Think I'd prefer it in B&W.
