Thanks Hilary, thanks Grigoriy.

Thanks, Jeff. It's often tempting to enhance the colours in bird shots but I try to produce an image the way I saw it. It was a dull day (hence ISO400) and colours were pretty muted!

Young blue-tit (Cyanistes caeruleus). Just beginning to show some blue
patches. Hope you like it ...

Colour & sharpness are good, a pity the highlights appear to be blown on the white cheek-patch.

I don't think the fisheye effect works with this subject, too much distortion, elements look flat with little sense of depth, the picture looks drunk.

Both are very good in different ways. I prefer the original, the colours are very crisp for a puddle reflection. The B&W version unsettles me because I know it's not right and it makes me wonder if you took it while upside-down!

I liked the juxtaposition of angry clouds with the intrusive CCTV

Shame we have to reduce images here, didn't want to crop but view
larger please.

Wonderful shot and I believe cropping would make it even better! Did a quick crop on screen grab & cropped from left leaving 82% and then from bottom leaving 94%. Leaves you with nothing to distract. Of course, if you have the skill & time to clone, that may also work. Again, very pleasing shot, must have been a great joy to come across this view!
