  1. Hi I've been looking at getting a flash for my rz for sometime. Finally narrowed it down and been looking at the

metz 45 CL-4 Digital, reason for the digital one is so I can use it with my digital camera if I so wish, but

will it actually work on the rz? I'm guessing it would on the manual modes but can anyone clarify this?

Also i'm guessing I can't just put it straight onto my camera so what else so I need?

    I think i need a 'metz interface module' - sca 395

and a SCA 300a connection cable

can anyone clarify this also? and is there anything else I will need? I'm thinking an l-grip would be a wise idea

    too.

If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be grateful as I've spent plenty of time browsing the net

for more information but seem to just get more confused.

    Thanks.

  2. i put another pack of film in thinking the first pack might have been rubbish. after ruining another picture i took it into the bathroom with no window in, put the film into the laundry basket and kept it in darkness

took out the rollers and had another look (i did before i put the film in as well)

realised that one said wasn't as secure as the other

showed it to my dad who realised one of the metal bits had been taken out and put in upside down

    put film back in

and voila i got a picture!

annoying it was something as silly as that which made me waste 11 photos. annoyed at the place that sold me it but oh well

    thanks for peoples help

  3. i'm not much older than you and i have the rz67 - bought for a reasonable price and seemed a good investment. i decided to go for it after one of my lecturers at uni said it was a great camera and with the rz67 you can always get a digital back (though i wont be able to afford one for years)

i still use my digital equipment occasionally but i love my rz67 so much. i think the quality and colours are so much nicer than digital. if you can i'd keep your digital as well.

  4. the white tab doesn't come out through the rollers

the first few pictures i had to pull apart yet the developer hadn't spread

i dont think there are rollers in the back?

if i open up the back now i'll ruin the remaining polaroids won't i? (though i think they're ruined anyways)

  5. Hi I may be asking a silly question here but...

I bought a polaroid back for my mamiya rz67 and have had no luck with getting a

    successful image as of yet

I leave it the required time but i either get...

-when i pull the pieces apart only one corner is wet and there is no print

    or

-i pull it out and the brown looking part and the white bit have come apart already

the film is dated 02-2009 so I'm not really sure if i'm doing something

completely wrong or i had a bad batch? its fuji fp-100c film

    thanks
