What are we doing here? Shooting pictures or ATOM BOMBS?!

Well, All I can say is... I have a minolta dynax 4 camera which is film SLR and i am not taking pictures with it as I thought i need a DSLR ( for which may be i will have to wait for 2 more years). After reading Ken's article... I'm feeling really inspired to take photographs with the current one!!! It is not that I won't buy the DSLR I want when I have the money...it is just that now I understand may be I can try with my minolta now which will eventually help me understand at least something about photography (BTW i'm a newbie in photography so actually clueless about it)
