Considering the definition of the lighted areas, especially her face, i must admit i'm very much into softness, because I think it contributes in creating a certain kind of haziness, but once again, it depends on the general tone of the session.

I'll do another one with her and her band (she's a singer in a metal band), and i'd like to have your opinion when the pics will be online, if you got time for me, obviously... Think It would be a darker session, but, who knows...

In The kingdom of the blind the one eyed are kings.....

First cropping is better, the face is centered and it gives a different perspective.

Always good to have an external eye to see things from another side.
