What does a tree tell you? How about a park bench, someone walking in the rain, a dog playing with a ball, children on a swing? Photography is capturing light (photography: painting with light) captures current events that are , more than likely, common to all of us!
What's your point?

I really like the pose and lighting, however the power lines running through the model are distracting.

Steven, I'm happy you took that with the humor I intended.

Unfortunately, because this is a National Park, I was not allowed to move the dead tree any closer to the dunes. lol just having fun!
Thanks for all your comments and suggestions! I appreciate every one of them.
Sincerely,
Jim

Thank you Patrick for your comments on my photo. We both know, as photographers, that framing a photo is the choice of the photographer.
When I post a photo on photo.net I like to frame my subjects, my reason for that is simple. I believe that all the other printed material on the site can disturb and detract the viewer's eye away from my subject. So, by adding some kind of frame I have a better chance of keeping their eye on my photo.
When I print I always mat and choose a suitable frame for the subject!I have included an unframed shot.
Sincerely,
Jim G. -

I was wondering if this tight crop does anything to attract your
interest. I like it myself but I was wondering about others.
