Thanks for the pics, way cool!

Don, do you have a picture of the 2XB/200 tripod collar? This sounds interesting.

BocaPhoto.com has them when they have them in stock. Strong, sturdy and very similar to oem triangular split rings. I have several sets on back order. They match the one's that come with my Nikon's but also work well with Canon and other bodies.

Louis, can't help you out, I bought all of them. I still have a couple in the original box somewhere waiting to be used.

Where did you get the Hama rings from? I need a couple of sets even if they are of lesser quality. The original's are difficult to find.

These are cheap now a days, picked up several at a camera store for 5.00 each. Never looked elsewhere, just bought up the old stock. My local store has a booster T but I've no use for it, perferring the 1N to the 1 or 1n.

Solved my focusing problem with a eye exam and new glasses. Previous glasses were a little to strong. Now everything pops into focus regardless of lens/camera combo.

The Sigma is a fantastic lens imo. I like the fact that it goes to 1:1 without an extension tube and it's f2.8.

Love the Photos of the cleaned up USN F-1N posted by Louis Meluso. When did
the Navy start using Canon's? When I was in, during the early 70's everything I
ever saw being photographed on or off the ship was Nikon's being used by
photographer mates.

Nice photo. I think the 50/2 has a undeserved bad reputation. All of my 50's, several makes and models over the years have been very good.

Nice photos. Like them all. I especailly like the side by side of the F2 and F-1. Makes me wonder why Canon abandoned the all mechanical camera?

Check for a tight lens mount, make sure lenses stopdown properly and dry fire them once a week if not in use to prevent the magnets from becoming problematic. Don't be afraid to spend $125-$150 to have them serviced regularly and they will last a liftetime. Bought and then sold an EOS system in favor of my FD system.
