very cute. i wish i could get my rats to sit still for a moment and pose... -
i like this image, i just wish the eyes were in focus...the tough thing about doing selective focus with animals that have longer faces is keeping key things in focus...i always try to keep the eyes in focus. now don't get me wrong, there are some shots that really work with just the nose or whiskers, etc in focus, but this one would be 10 times better if the eyes were focused. nice work though.

Jim, yes I did photograph him on white seamless...it happened to be one of the first shots (aren't the good ones always an accident or a first shot?). We were just letting him get used to the studio and the strobes when they flashed and he happened to be romping around on the seamless and I took a test shot. There's nearly no editing - aside from the usual slight curves/levels adjustment and cropping of the photo.
