    The Royal Pleco

this is a really great shot of a pleco. excellent lighting and the detail on him is fabulous! what did you use to light the tank...did you have any problems with glare? i'd like to dabble a bit more in fish photography but i can't seem to get my lighting right.

Not the best photo, completely candid but it really shows his personality...He is a 10

year old Belgian Thoroughbred cross. Any comments or critique are greatly

    appreciated.

This would be a great shot if the dog wasn't wearing a collar and the nose was in focus. The top of the head is slightly blown out but I like the lighting, it captures the texture of the fur very well. Cute dog, cute expression, I just wish it was all in focus.

Beautiful shot. Love the contrasting colours. Just wish the top of the beak wasn't quite so blown out. But it is a wonderful portrait. Nice job.

I love this portrait! Dogue de Bordeaux's are absolutely adorable. I just wish it was in focus. Great concept though. If there's a next time, try cleaning his face off a little bit (he has eye goopies and drool marks). Otherwise nice shot. Makes me want to watch Turner & Hooch!

I love the shot, but I do find the cat tags a little distracting. I also wish the background were just a tad bit more blurred - all things you can fix in Photoshop! It is a lovely image, I wish mine would sit still long enough for me to get any photo of her, she sees the camera and she's gone!

Beautiful shot. If the cropped arm bothers you, maybe try cropping in more and focusing on just her face and hand? I just did a quick crop, let me know if you like it...

Nice shot. Might try to crop in and rotate just a tad to make the horizontal lines straighter. Otherwise a very amusing portrait. Great job!

I agree with Stephen. I like the concept of the portrait but I think I would prefer the colour version. The wood is too distracting for me. Perhaps try a square crop to center more on the face and take some of the wood out?

Bailey - 20 month old Akita. Just a test shot in a location I'd like to do

some more photos in. Constructive criticism / comments appreciated.

    Thanks!

I love this photo, but I find the background a bit distracting. Perhaps try a little bit of blurring and desaturating ( I know it's a B&W ) to lighten the background and make it more obscure so the complete focus is on the dog. Very nice image.

Mystic. An adorable cat rescued from a home where she was severely

burned in an oven. Her toes were fused together making it difficult for her

talk and she also suffered facial deformations. Constructive criticism /

    comments appreciated. Thanks!
