  1. Ok, In the future (2 or 3 years) I plan on buying the Canon 100-400mm lens. I already have the 18-55 kit lens and a

80-200 lens (witch I will sell after I buy the 100-400mm). But my question is, I would Like to know if there is a lens

around 18-100 for my canon rebel XTi so I can get rid of my kit lens and just have my 18-100 (if they make that) and

my 100-400. Any help is appreciated!

  2. How do I "flatten" it? I don't even know what that is. I followed your instructions (except for the flatten part) and it turned out good but when I save the photo it saves to photoshop and not to my main editing software. (Zoombrowser, it's the program that came with the camera I got) Can yall help?
  3. I have seen a few photos like this and would like to know how you do it. I've mostly seen it in cat pictures. It's where

you make the whole picture black and white except for the eyes. I've also seen it with people holding an umbrella.

Can I do this with my photoshop CS2? I think it's awsome.

  4. I recently own a canon rebel XTi/400d. I really want to take some firework pictures and it seems that the best way to

do that is by setting your shutterspeed to "bulb" mode. (It's where you prees the shutter button and it takes the

picture for as long as you hold your fingure on the shutter button) So, does my canon rebel XTI have that feature or

anything like it? I would really like to know. Thanks for your help

  5. Well i'm still in high school and photography is definatly my future career. I just have a major passion for it. As far as

budget goes, if Iwant to buy a camera item I just save my money. Like right now i'm saving up for a canon 100-400

mm lens. I shot with one last year and Ilove it. I think it's perfect for my kind of wildlife photography. All I can say is

    just save up money! ;)<div>00Px7w-51887584.thumb.jpg.4f041a576c2b78bdc2bb3d0e47d1c635.jpg</div>

  6. Hi, I would really like to purchase a remote cable release for waterfall and firework pictures. But i really don't know

witch one to buy. I want a simple and good quality one. There is one that Don Gale used on a podcast I saw of him

taking waterfall pictures. It looks perfect for what I need. Can you all identify it or suggest a different one. Here is the

    link:

    Click on "Don Gale-YOSEMITE 1"

I don't know how long it's going to take to load but bare with me.

Pay attention to the cable release, I really like it. I think it would be good.

    Well thanks for help.

  7. I really want a simple waterproof point and shoot camera. I did some research and

found the Olympus Stylus 850 sw. I really think it's a good one. It has 8

megapexils and is waterproof up to 10 feet. I think for what i need it for (snorkaling

and swimming) the 8 megapexils would be fine. Does anyone have and personal

setting that they normally use when they use there stylus 850 or any suggestion

for when i go out in the field (snorkaling) and take pictures. Or tell me what

problems they had with the camera. Just any info. i need to know about this

    camera. THANKS! Colton

  8. I have the XTi (400d) and i think it takes good pictures. All of my close-ups in my portfolio ar taken with the 18-55mm that came with it. I do use a UV filter but thats so i don't break my lens when i'm out and about. But i know what you mean i soon plan to purchase the 430EX flash and the BG-E3 battery pack and i would like them to be cheeper, but beggars can't be choosers!
  9. Ok.... a lot of times people will go into my portfolio and offer VERY helpful

critiques. Once i follow there directions if i like it i save it. BUT, do upload the new

pic and just leave the old one in my portfolio or do i upload the new one and delete

the old one, or do i just leave the old one and don't upload the new. I'm confused!

  10. Hey guys, I want a little studio for some close-ups and i think i found a good one.

The Quantaray E-Box Portable Photo Studio. I like the size of it and think it what i

need. But..... is there anyone out there that has one or has used one. If so do yall

have anything i need to know about it that i should or comments. But also if yall

know of i better one feel free to let me know as long as its under $150. I don't want

to get too fancy and spend too much money. Thanks for yalls help, Colton

  11. Ok..... I know this question has been asked a billion times but i want to know why

no one ever critiques me. i'm not sure if its cause i'm too much of a beginer that

the "pros" just don't want to bother. I just would really like to know if i'm doing

something wrong in my pictures and how i can fix it. I mean it woulld really help if

people would give some feed back. I've put all my pictures on the critique forum

but...... no critiques! I thought that was the whole perpose of this website. Maybe

theres just too many people and i get "kicked-out" of the forum too quick. I don't

    know..............................................................................................................
