I dislike this lens wide open at 1.4. Jittery distracting bokeh and the subject isn't sharp. But a miracle happens at f2. The lens really gets sharp and the bokeh is smooth and wonderful. At f2, this is a perfect portraits lens. Try some portraits at f2, and you'll see what I mean.
