<p>Hey guys,<br>
just got my 1 DMKIII back from Canon just went through and re-did all my custom settings after they were wiped clean, but somehow i have managed to do something to the ISO settings and now it will only go as Low as 200 and as high as 3200 i have made sure the ISO expansion is on with the "SET ISO speed range" custom function it's enabled with a highest ISO speed H and lowest ISO speed L ? but there not there? it is the same for my 5DMKII also which i went through and re-did the custom functions also ? what have i done. i've gone over this so many times.<br>

<p>Hey Guy's,<br>
i'm just chasing a Canon EF film body? i want basically the lightest camera possible that i will be able to fire remotely with my Pocket Wizards? I have an old Eos 300V which is possibly the most basic body you can get. So it's light as a feather, just no remote trigger port? any ideas? I'm liking the EOS 5 as it has the 6 FPS, but maybe something lighter? It needs to be light as i'm going to be mounting it on things, bikes cars and such, just stuff i dont trust my 5D MKII with. I was thinking a 300D but dont want the cropped sensor as i will mainly be shooting fisheye? any ideas?</p>

<p>Hey Pete,<br>

<p>hey no just hot shoe lights, Vivitar 285's... so i just would need a mono splitter?<br>

<p>Hey guys, i want to double up my flashes to get some extra light, but i just want 1 PW to fire both of them at the same time? i tried a splitter but it did'nt work? you know the ones you would use for headphones? so you can run 2 headphones out of the one socket? any idea why this wouldent work? the flashes would fire when i inserted the plug into the splitter, but they wouldent fire when i tried to test them?</p>

<p>Hey guy's,</p>
<p>i have both these cameras, and love the Norita's 80mm f2, but i want to see about the possiblities of using in on my Pentax with the simplicity of the AE Prism? When i hold my 80mm f2 infront of my pentax mirror it covers the whole mirror, does this mean it should cover the 6x7 neg? I thought about getting a rear lens cap for my norita and using a body cap for my pentax, and with a bit of handy work i should be able to get it light tight? But one thing i was trying to think about as how will the meter react on the pentax with the Norita lens in front of it? The lens obviously wont be able to tell the camera which aperture i'm using, but i know the meter is active when there is no lens mounted, so what aperture is it taking into consideration to give me the reading? any ideas on how this might work? i know i will probably only be able to shoot the 80mm f2 wide open but thats fine, because thats why i want this lens...<br>

Hey guys,
kinda interested in getting a 6x9 folding camera, i know there are alot out there, and i'm not quite sure which
would be the best one to go for. Things i'm after is value, fast lens, and shutter, cold shoe holder, and good
quality glass.... now i know these aren't the usual aspects one finds in a folder, but im just trying to find
out which one will go closest? any ideas?
Thanks for any healp you guys can give me.

Sigma do the 10-22 also.. but it's rectilinear and dosent have the distortion, it stretches the image instead. The Canon 15mm is awesome... but you really need a full frame sensor for it. Keep in mind if you end up eventually getting a FF camera you wont be able to use the Sigma 10-22 and the Tokina you will only be able to use it from 15mm to 17mm...
for skating or even climbing a fisheye isnt really that specialized.... you will use it alot more than you think.
Sigma do make a 15mm f2.8 fish eye, just like the Canon but if there is a Canon option for the lens you want, i could never bring myself to get another brand for the sake of a few hundred bucks... but i'm sure there are plenty who would disagree.

Hey Guy's
thanks for the reply, i was basically thinking to crop it so there was no black showing with the Sigma 8mm whenever i did'nt want circular shots?... would this be less wide than what the 15mm would produce on the same FF? the Sigma 12-24 sounds nice, but there is something about super wide rectilinear lenses i'm not so sure about. Maybe just the 15mm on a full frame will be enough for me and it's just the 1.3 crop thats making me crave a wider lens..?

Hey guys...
curious for some info..... looking at some lenses for a new 5DdmkII when it become available..... i currently also
own a 1dMKII and a 15mm Canon Fish..... but want something wider. looking at a Sigma 8mm with the large sensor
of the 5dMKII i could crop it pretty heavily? right? but then theres also the Tokina 10-17mm ? and i could do
the same? cropping it tightly? are these options viable? is it going to be wider than the 15mm on the FF
sensor? which option would be better? the Sigma or the Tokina..... i know theres also the Canon 14mm but i like
the fisheye distortion and it has a large price tag...... hey i would have them all if i could ! Any ideas or
thoughts would be awesome guy's.

hmm spent the last 6 hours researching, and i really dont want another system... i already have a 1dMkII and a bunch of L series glass to keep me buying lenses, i guess i'm just after something simple, with a leaf shutter and fast f2.8 glass, and something a little different from what i have been using, i like the fact with the Rollei that i'm stuck with the one lens, it means i wont go out and buy more..... the size is great, and the looks are stunning.... i guess i just have to wait for a good value one to fall in my lap...
anyway thanks again for all you comments and helpful replies.... it's made it alot easier for me...

hey guys
thanks for the info it's helped heaps....the reason for the 4x4 for my girlfriend was mainly i just think she will dig the smaller size (this has no reflection on anything else you dirty minded people might be thinking :-), and also get a kick out of using an old odd ball sized film.... it is a pain in the ass to get but, i guess just buy in bulk and freeze it....
So the Rollei's seem like my main option hey....i think the GX and even FX are a little out of my price range... but i dont mind shelling out a few hundred on a 2.8, is there really that little difference between the different lens makes on the various Rollei 2.8's??
Maybe i'll also take another look at the Mamiya's..... is there any one of those that would best suit me??
I know there are a bunch of other branded TLR's are any of them worth looking into??
i know the majoirty of the info i can find are only on Yashica's Rollei's and Mamiya's....

i alreayd have a I already have a Norita 66 which i got for the 80mm F2, i acctually wanted one for me and one for her thats why was thinking a 4x4 tlr for her and a 6x6 TLR for me.... i bought her a holga, she loves it, but is just getting into the whole technical side of it now, so i figure it's time for her to move up to a real camera, and i can see me never seeing my Norita unless i get her something soon.... ,so basiucally i want a TLR for the leaf shutter, and yes like many people love a shallow depth of field
i had a look and the Primo Jr looks awesome for 4x4 but i still dont know with the 6x6... i dont really want a Mamiya, they look a little too big and from what i could see no f2.8
so still unsure which one to look into....
the Rollei's look great , i would prefer a crank arm to a winding knob, but i can live without it...but Which Rollei? and also what about the Yashica's ??again which one? and do they have a 2.8 lens?

Hey guys
i just have a few queries on the best way to scan prints, i have a new Epson
V700 and my sister in law has asked me if i can scan her wedding prints for
her?, See the Photographer has done a runner with her negs which were supposed
to be part of the deal, he apparently owed some people money within the industry
and has since fallen off the face of the earth, negs included... She has a bunch
of prints she got just before he disappeared, and really wants to get some of
these enlarged? Is this possible to get decent enlargements out of? if not she
at least just wants to have backups of her prints in there current size, so i'm
just curious as to wether there might be a best way possible to go about this?
any help would be appreciated..

hey guy's,
been looking at TLR's lately and am pretty interested, i want something light,
low aperture f2.8 minimum, is there anything lower?? i also want it to be sharp
wide open?? so a good lens, i also would like a PC port for flash work.... and
finally good value... so i'm not afraid to spend money for what i want, but i
wouldent mind knowing the best value option if there are several... i also would
consider a 4x4 127 type TLR also, if they meet the requirements.... possibly as
well as, it would make a great birthday present for my girlfiend...
thanks guys, any info would be appreciated.... i have done some researching but
keep getting lost.... i did'nt realize there were so many of these beautiful
cameras...

Hey Michael,
i have the short manual, and couldent find anything in that, and have saved the very long and detailed repair manual, which i will look at a little closer, but i dont know if i will find answers there that i can undwerstand..... anyway i tried with the lever in D and it wasthe same, the winder will keep winding it dosent come to a stop no matter how many times i rotate it???
i really think i'm missing something just dont know what....
i'll just have to get some film and see...
but i just dont see how the film will change anything??

Hey Guy's,
just received my Norita 66 i got off ebay and wanted to ask a few questions....
the camera was listed as near perfect condition so i took this as meaning
everything was working fine... i cannot however get the shutter to fire? i dont
have any film to test it with yet, but the shutter should still fire without
film right? am i missing something? The camera does seem in great condition but
i just cant work out why the shutter wont fire??
any ideas? i should be getting some film this week, the camera was supposed to
come with a roll of film as per the auction, but it did'nt....
anyway let me know what you guys think?
the shutter just feels stiff, like it hasent been cocked?

i would say it would be fine, but you should also check with the event organizes, sometimes when an athlete registers for an event it will included a waiver allowing any images taken during the event to be used in a commercial fasion...

thanks Brad but i'm pretty sure this isnt the case.... i couldent find anything about a converter going from a 645 to the 67 format, they go the other way from the 67 to the smaller format.... Also the lens looks very different to the one pictured on flickr....
