We were in Scotland over a week until we came across our first Highland

Cow and boy did we find a cool one in great light.

Hard to develop this roll when Outdoor Photographer's June issue just

arrived with Lik's image as the cover shot. Amazing place, be sure you go.

Third morning was an early rise to catch the sun rise though Mesa Arch in

Canyonlands. A short 1/2 mile hike takes you to a row of photographers all

lined up for the event. While not a great sun rise the light shining under the

arch makes for a nice touch. The event was full with acrobatics ontop of the

arch I'm sure which is posted on some German or China blog site.

Cloudy day and almost ready to give up, just then the clouds over

Whiteface opened up. Panorama of 4, 5 image hdrs. Comments welcome

A nice 2 mile hike along the Gulf Hagas Stream in the North Maine

10 image blend, I generally start with 5-9 bracketed images +/-1 fs,

depending on lighting need to capture the full light spectrum. I processed

the right side 5 images first; getting Photomatix settings good, then

processed left 5 images. Stitched 2 tonemapped images together in ps.

Mornings and evenings are wonderful times on top of Cadillac, thanks for

Yellowstone is a magical place, always fun to capture a storm in the

Yellowstone colors are always amazing, here is a favorite spot to let the

light and algae mix for a different photo every time. 5 image hdr w/moderate

Found an out-take of three year ago trip to Banff. New Photomatix features

helped bring out the tones better.

After this shot went into Teton Village and had a tasty Moose Drool Ale.
