Lake in the evening, late January, Japan (Walz Wide, handheld)

What do y'all think? I have to admit that my favorite cameras to use
are the ones that are already about 50 years old. I guess I'm more of
a collector and a tinkerer than a photographer. Even so, I think I do
get a nice shot once in a while. I took this with a Welti 1C, a
German-made folding 35mm camera made in the early 50s.

Such nice light qualities, and the contrast really draws me in.

Taipei, Taiwan. I often see this jolly old fellow folding paper
airplanes for the kids in the park...just for fun! The kids love to
chase them, and they fly really far. As he folds them, he shows the
kids how to do it, and explains why this or that crease has to
be 'just so'. The kids jump up and down and say, "I want one, too!!"
He says, "OK, OK, the next one I fold will be for you, don't you
worry!" The world needs more people like that.
Camera: Voigtlander Vito II, a German folding camera made in the mid
1950s. ASA 100 print film. hand-held.
