scott_cogburn

A traditional medicine shop in Taipei's Di Hua market street. The traditional medicine shops always have dried mushrooms, but in the weeks before Chinese New Year, they really sell a lot, and each shop has at least a dozen different varieties.Camera: Welta Welti 1C, German folding 35 mm camera, made in the early 1950s (Carl Zeiss Jena lens). ASA 100 color print film, handheld.

What do y'all think? I have to admit that my favorite cameras to use

are the ones that are already about 50 years old. I guess I'm more of

a collector and a tinkerer than a photographer. Even so, I think I do

get a nice shot once in a while. I took this with a Welti 1C, a

German-made folding 35mm camera made in the early 50s.
