    Miguel, White balance effects the whole scene. If you mix color temperatures you could be setting yourself up for a big mess (unless that's the look you're going for). Matching your flash to the ambient is probably the easiest thing you can do. You could also try just cutting the ambient out all together by either blocking it (cover windows, turn off lights, etc.) or overpowering it (raise the shutter speed to your max sync speed).
