1.
Another site I asked about this, a guy came up with this, his front is the usual back but the side strip ( f stop and shutter speed ) is the same identical brown as the front of mine.. ! could it have been something like a bad batch of coloured metal from paintshop and they decided to go ahead and use it as material was scarce?

 2.
Thank you this helps a lot .... there is indeed an asterix on the serial number
which is P 5699 * embossed in the edge of back cover by hinge. Still nice to know they are not too common and fix it to 47-49 in timescale.
The EV meter doesn't work anymore, any idea if this is a quick fix as everything else about the camera is wonderful.
The Black Part behind, i refered to is the thin strip of tin that wraps the circumference of the lens just in front of the Bellows. It has the shutter speeds and F stops painted on it. This looks to be the exact same material as front yet is perfectly jet black. thus my logic if it was sunlight tis should have faded too, it hasn't.
The camera seems to have always been in Ireland since 1949 as the case has the owners name in Irish in the old script which went out during a modernisation of language in 1950.

 3.
I know a bit about paints as I had issues with it in a professional capacity and coatings in industry. This discolouration is far too perfectly uniform to be exposure to UV. The ring wrapped directly behind the front part with the F stops etc on it is perfectly black. this would have faded too. It's a puzzle for sure ... :-)

 4.
I can't find out anything about this, anybody know anything?
It is a Super Ikonta 533/16, I've had it for years today someone pointed out that the front facade (ring) is brown to match the case, something I'd not think about, I just take photos with it. I looked online and every picture I can find has them in black and no articles about variants.
The original owner was a lady, my aunt, Is this a rare thing ? were ladies able to order them in brown to match the case? sorry about picture -- SCROLL down .. ( I am not used to forums )
http://i1236.photobucket.com/albums/ff460/anthonycronin/Super%20Ikonta%20BX%20533%2016%20Brown%20face/DSC_0231_zpsxnh6uisu.jpg[/url]

If you pm me your address i'll let you know how much to send it by registered post from Ireland.

 6.
I don't know how this ended up in my collection, I have looked at it over years and still have no idea what mount it is. The diaphragm pin is solid and does not retract. Also the braket on side moves back and forth as shown in pictures. I see online a guy reviewed it and it looks like something worth testing as the glass is new.
Any clues? Photobucket link here wherei uploaded photos.

http://s1236.photobucket.com/user/anthonycronin/media/135mm%20auto%20sankor%20wierd%20mount/IMG_1644.jpg.html

Story format which I hope works. http://s1236.photobucket.com/user/anthonycronin/135mm%20auto%20sankor%20wierd%20mount/story or link here to pictures http://s1236.photobucket.com/user/anthonycronin/library/135mm%20auto%20sankor%20wierd%20mount
