I love this photo. The dark menacing clouds in the background brings the tree, stripped of it's leaves alive. The partial sunlight shining on the grass at right brings hope to the overall scene. Despite the dark rain clouds this is a picture of hope and beauty. Well done Klaus! If I was there, I would have taken this picture as well. I see beauty where others don't. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

I am very grateful that you took a photo of it. Photographers are a special breed of people that preserve things of the past that no longer exist for photography enthusiasts, like me, to enjoy.
