It was very late, with very low light, but I kept shoting handheld this egret. Technically this is a mess, but even so, I still like the mod.....

I had seen this scene some times while walking in the park. I noticed that after 10-20 secs since the finish of the feeding, sometimes (about 5%) the bird came back to feed in the same flower. So handhelding my D300+80-400VR, I saw the scene, prepared my self, waited, and oh, I was lucky!

Stands in the shoreline, and was attacked by Sir Francis Drake (1595)
and Pieter van der Does (1599), failing in both cases....
