experts once again I need some advice, it is my brother bday and I like to gift

him an L lens, IMHO he is a very good amateur in photography, so I am not sure

what to get, but what would help is that he likes to take nature pictures, could

you please offer me couple of choices of the canon L lenses that would be

useable for him, thanks for your help ...

Anyone can give an advice on how these 2 compares, price wise they're about the

same with $30 difference depending on where you buy, thank you in advance.

hello, I am not trying to become a pro in photography, the best I hope is to

take good 4x6 or 5x7 pictures of my kids indoor and outdoor, outdoor would be

playing soccer, and visiting the zoo. I currently own an xti with the kit lens,

a sigma DG 18-125mm 3.5-5.5, and the 50mm 1.8 canon. Now I am in the market for

a zoom lens, so I did a lot of research and basically it all comes down to what

u need the lens for, so in my case, like I said, taking some animals shots at

the zoo and taking shots of my kids playing soccer. So I like some advice from

the experts on this board, the 70-300 usm is selling for $200, for a $100 more i

can get the 100-300, but then at another $200 i can get the IS or the 70-200

f4L. money is not an issue for that range, but if i don't have to pay more than

i have to, then i don't want to. Again, i am not going to grow with my equipment

since what I am getting is what I will be using for a while. Please point me in

the right direction, thanks in advance.
