Hi everyone,

I am planning to travel around Sicily on October. I have my old Canon 450 with 18-200, Tokina 11-18, 70-300 and a few primes. Last year for the first time I took Sony RX100-II to Brittany/Normandy/Paris and 98% didn't miss traveling with DSLR. A few weeks ago I rented Panasonic 1000 to Montana hikes and wedding (along with Sony) to have a longer zoom range. It was nice, "not thrilling, but nice" experience. The small problem is - this camera doesn't supported by my version of DxO. And it was so dusty, I am glad I had a relatively sealed camera. As of now, I am inclining to take just small Sony. My question is - do I need a bigger zoom (I can rent older Sony RX10, which is supported by DxO, or for that matter - any of the latest Sony RX-100xx or Pan LX100 if they are really much better) and/or do I need a much better camera? I can borrow my brother's Canon5D M2 with 17-40, 24-105 (but I really need to justify weight). Any suggestions regarding travel itineraries, places, photo tips and etc are welcome. Thank you. Len
