What a beautiful sky. I agree with other, needs more foreground. If you could step back some or widen the angle of view to capture something on the ground, like tumbleweed. Regardless, the landforms and sky are awesome.
Where is this?

Shooting birds is tough. It has to be the toughest subject to capture well. You want to frame the whole bird including tail feathers and get him in front of branches. Ideally, the only branch you want to see is the one that it is perched on, unless they are blurred behind him. Also, when framing a bird try to keep more space in front of him or what ever way his head is aimed. If he is looking dead at the camera keep him in the center of the shot. It can be tough to get a shot like that, you may have to do some waiting and a lot of shooting. You have a good start, bird looks pretty sharp. Just be patient and you will get many keepers.

If it were tilted a tad bit more clockwise and croped to mirror other side it would be perfect. The color is awesome. 6/6

Just saw this lotus at the autoshow in SC. How did you manage to get a shot with no people? Anyhow, great shot.

Color/Lighting is great, to me. Love the background too. I gave a 6 on aesthetics because of sharpness and lighting color. I guess some folks dont understand what aesthetics mean?
