Industrial Dereliction

I think the contrast is nice and punchy, and very much suits the subject matter. The buildings on the top left and the railings on the bottom right contain the viewing eye. The slabbed path leads you comfortably into the scene; which firstly is the lady; with the little bit of mystery, 'what is she looking at?'. I wasn't sure about only having half the child at first though there is enough to know what we're looking at so I guess I think that works...Then, finally, past the guy with his back to us and onto the guy looking at his book: he again contains the eye and, after a look at the cloud and sky, bring us back to the meat of the shot and stop us wandering off into the distance.
