    Hi,

I really love this picture, especially the superb tecnique!

Can I ask you two things!?

    - How did you make such a background!? I'm referring to both the floor and the background...

About the reflection on the floor: did you use a piece of plexiglass!?

    - How did you create the circle in the background!?

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

I'm new to this kind of photography and I would really love any advice!

    Best Regards!

Really John, I just looove the mood you recreate in these picture (I'm referring to the ones with this bluesh light mood)!

I like the idea of the hat and the cigaret but I would have taken out of the scene the necklace that is present on the table, looks like a punch of colors to me.

Do you use a combination of filters, both on lens and on light, to create this atmosphere, or is just post-processing?! I cannot understand how can you have the model's skin perfectly white-balanced along with everything else going to blue if not doing some masky/hue&saturation/games in PhotoShop.

    As always thanks for sharing!

    Really,

I've been looking for a picture like this for a long time:

I think the pale color of the model's skin in contrast to the pretty cian/blu color of the lights really sets the mood in this picture. I also like the strong red lipstick fro it's contrast.

The look of the model is just great, and the see-through shirt is intriguing.

If I have to point out something I would say that I would have cloned out the red sign in the lower-left side of the window and the "david yurman" sign just besides the model's face.

I would have also lowered the luminance of the window (with curves in PS) to bring it down, close to library's one. I guess this would have helped to set the model more apart from the rest of the room.

    Just one question:

how did you made this blu light without making the model blu too?! Thanks a lot for sharing!

Anyway this is just a great 7/7 for me!

    Congratulation!

Questa foto ha una particolare atmosfera che mi piace molto...sar࠰er i toni poco saturi e per la luce che degrada...uno stile che sto cercando di imparare ma ancora con scarsi risultati! Complimenti!
  1. Hi,

I don't know the reason why you wrote your comment below my picture: if it is because you think I've stolen you the subject of a picture you posted the day before yesterday (anyway I did not saw your image before and I took mine about a year ago...) or because you just wanted me to se yours.

Anyway I think your image has a better point of view but I still prefer the colours of mine. I still have to finish to work on my image, for a different result, but I've already posted the version you saw.

    Regards

Hi, thanks for your kind comment!

I truly like this picture, maybe a little bit too much contrasted IMO, but it has a great perspective.

    Keep sharing new picture!

  2. Ciao,

complimenti per la foto: mi piace moltissimo il contrasto tra le luci blu dei bagni ed il giallognolo delle pareti.

Forse 蠵n mio problema di visualizzazione, non so, per a me l'immagine sembra tagliata subito alla destra della porta chiusa, quella non retroilluminata.

E' come se avessi scalato una porzione dell'immagine verso il basso.

    Magari mi sto sbagliando...

    Comunque bellissimo scatto.

Ho visto da un tuo commento che sei anche tu di Torino!

    A presto!

    Yes, now i perfectly understood.

Is what I thought at the beginning, I just didn't catch what you said before...

One last thing: "IMO" stands for!?!?

    Thanks a lot!
