  1. <p>

    <p>Hi,<br>

I have a Nikon 9000 scanner set up with VueScan Professional version software.<br>

Films that I need scanned are Velvia 50 and Provia 100. I also have It8 targets from Wolf Faust for these two films and my monitor is calibrated with X-rite i1.<br>

My questions are: do I calibrate the scanner and create a scanner profile for each of those films or do I need to create a film ICC profile for each film so that my scanned slides match when viewed on my monitor. and what settings are best for calibration on VueScan.<br>

    Thank you.<br>

I just got a used Nikon coolscan 9000 scanner and I need some help getting this scanner working.<br>

I get a message "software will not run with this O/S"<br>

Does any one knows how to get this scanner to work with windows xp pro 64 bit. (not Vista)<br>

    Thanks,</p>

  3. Hi,

I need help with my results of my recent test for Zone 1

They are all over the map.

I took 7 exposures using a Sekonic 508.I spot meter a grey wall in the

shade and closed down 4 stops for each ASA change from the reading.

I developed the film with Kodak D76 deluted 1-1 using a Jobo CPE

procesor at 68 degree for 12 min. and I got my local lab to check the net

    desity of each frame.

    This are my results:

    frame 1 ASA 100 net desity 0.15

    frame 2 ASA 80 net density 0.20

    frame 3 ASA 64 net density 0.31

    frame 4 ASA 50 net density 0.39

    frame 5 ASA 125 net density 0.13

    frame 6 ASA 160 net density 0.09

    frame 7 ASA 200 net density 0.08

frame 8 unexposed and developed for FB+fog using the same settings above.

    net density 0.09

I would think that the ASA should be less of the recommended by Mfg

and not higher. At this point looks like frame number 6 is the one

close to Zone 1. Is this test correct?

    Thanks for all your help.

  4. Hi,

How do you store unexposed quickload / readyload 4x5 film?

Do I need to keep them in the refrigerator like

    120/220 film?

Also can someone recommend a lab in the Philadelphia

area that will process 4x5 slide film.

    Thanks.

  5. Hi,

I have a Hasselblad PCP 80 slide projector with the 250mm lens and

    the matching condenser.

My question is: Can I use the 150mm lens with the condenser for the

250mm lens?. I can only find for sale the 150mm lens without the

    matching condenser.

    Thanks.
