I've made prints from my wife's Panasonic ZS40 with a 1 / 2.3 18MP sensor at 11X14 and they were just fine.

<p>I don't shoot concerts but I love low light photography, I'll second the Fuji X100 for that purpose. I can shoot at ISO 1600 or even 3200 and get clear, crisp shots. </p>

<p>Better equipment will give you better pictures if you determine to bring yourself up to the level of the better equipment. I bought a camera that was way above my skill level and made that determination. I'm not there but I am on my way. </p>
