I decided to just present it as exposed with no post alteration other than converting to black and white... You are correct, the jacket grabs more light and also the viewer's attention... The natural light fall off was interesting to me. If she had been wearing a darker jacket, the entire image would have benefitted. -
I really appreciate that you took the time to comment. This is in an abandoned house and the textures and natural light play are always pure fun!

Ok, so it's only getting an average rating of 4.33 that keeps me humble :) As for the tattoo on her left shoulder, couldn't very well edit that out without insulting the bride, it's part of her... Thanks for the comments! -

This is an interesting photograph and leaves opportunity for a visual narrative... she's looking off to camera left, possibly reflecting on some memory... and a man comes in from the shadows and adds potential to the story. Having her elevated above the dwellings and on a road further separates her from the toils below? I also find her shoes interesting and her stance is passive. Lots to see and think about here thank you for sharing your work! -

What an extraordinary image!!!! The details are truly crisp and interesting... Behavior wise, I'm wondering why the abdomen, normally extended straight, was curled forward? Did you happen to observe the behavior long enough to determine why the wings were tight and the abdomen went in that direction? Thanks so much for sharing your spectacular image! -
