    "Please eat our pigeons..!" :)

i see you know well the turkish, the pigeon -as a kind of sandwich- is a well-known food in Izmir but not in other cities of Turkey:) This made me think that you have ever lived in Izmir for a while enough to learn local expressions... am i right?

thanks for your valuable statements. yes, it s not holidays, this should be the reason why the photo is not very dynamic. i also agree about lines of grass & path. They damage the composition which isn't already perfect.

    kind regards/Tolga

  1. Hi Olaf,

Many thanks for your critique. Regarding the location of the man at almost left corner, I couldn't include to the current frame more view on left and on bottom cause the rocks was ending and i didn't want to have the cars and other things that i thought as unnecessary in the frame, also i was not having possibility to take it from a different angle. Anyway I m pleased to hear your feed-back and constructive suggestions.  I think the man's "leaning to left" is an optical deformation since he is located nearly at border of frame.

Thanks again, kind regards / Tolga

I like the subject, Tamara. This bring back to me some beautiful memories anyway i prefer to see them on a dusty town-road, in the hands of messy and happy chlidren.

  2. Warm thanks to dear Huo Boya who let me write her poem here:

    ...Similarities & Differences...

    One tree is one world

One tree shows the thorough wisdom

    In each raindrop

There’s the reflection of a different world

We are similar with each other

We are also different from each other

    We are one thousand rivers

    Reflecting one thousand different moons...
