1. That's a terrible accident. A similiar accident happened to me but it was because of the lab. I trekked around the old trade routes between the ancient Greek cities in Anatolia and shot 4 rolls of slide film which depicted the scenery I possibly won't be able to see in the future and then lab burned them by accident because of a fault in the processing machine.

pedro_hing_ recommended to not to use the stop bath either. But as far as I know it can be reused couple of times. Is this information wrong? Or does using the stop bath multiple times really endangers the negative?

The stop bath removes (clean) the developer from de negative.

It's a very dilueted acid solution, and it take very long do spend a bottle.

I bought 1lt of aceptic acid and use it for years.

So, for me it's not justify to store stop bath, and you will contamin the next negative.

  2. @pedro_hing_ that's some ingenuity there. It would be perfect for the stock 5 L rapid fixer I use. What particular brand of (boxed wine) bladder do you use & how do you fill it up? If I remember Franzia boxed wine is clear & thought the spout is "welded" to the bladder.

    Hello again,

I think it don't have brand, at least I never saw it.

You cam fill it up by the hole after remove the tap.

  3. Hello again,

Finally, it is developed. But the results ...are not very bad :)

I've exposed it at 400 and used Rodinal 1+25, 7min, at 20ºc, and got very dense / over developed.

Due to the age of the film, it would be expected to lose sensitivity, so it would take more time to develop, am I right?

I wouldn't be surprised if it got under developed.

Now it's drying, later I'll scan it.

Based on this results, opinions for the second film are welcome.

  4. Thank you for your replies.

I byed 2 Tri-x Pan expired in 1978 on a fleamarket, and got curious about the results.

I've already exposed one at EI400 and, for now, only have Rodinal.

Once I developed a 40yo exposed Fujifilm SS100, and after a research I’ve opted for de standard time. It worked.

The thing is that the box doesn’t show the time table, like the moderns ones.

What about stand development in Rodinal?

  5.
I’ve been reading the forum and found that the Rollei 6008 have some electrical problems, but I didn’t found none like mine.
When I set in “M” it shows the time and aperture values, but the metering scale it’s all alight. When I set in “A” aperture and time values shows like “8”, and the metering scale still the same.
I hope you understand my problem, because my English isn’t the best.

Best regards
Pedro Hingá
