Very nice picture, but it looks like a blue 'virtual' filter a little excessively applied. Perhaps mitigate the filter effect a bit and increase the contrast instead in order to make 'heavier' lines. But very nice still.

Late summer and I was driving along when something about the
stillness of this field at dusk caught my eye. It was getting pretty
dark, but there was a consistent layer of translucent backlit clouds.

January 2007. A huge stormfront came rolling through as I was out for
a stroll with camera and tripod. 30+ sec exposure.

Minutes after taking this, I slipped and fell on an icy rock,
busting up my knee. I guess I was a little too enthusiastic, but I
love how ice forms over rock in the wintertime.

Very nice colours and composition. Perhaps the flower could be a little more strongly lit to make it pop a bit, but I'm nitpicking. The background is nice; the horizontal placement of the grain make a nice backdrop.

Nice composition. I agree with the above that some of the white space could go. Also, it looks like you have some moisture on the lens creating some spotting. You could photoshop that out depending on how you feel about that sort of thing. There is a strong green cast to the shot also - white balance? Very enjoyable picture.

Great idea. Perhaps a polarizer and/or some kind of light diffuser (soft box etc.) could take away some of the highlight harshness; and a wider view, including even more jelly beans, might have more impact (it seems kind of tightly cropped). Very nice.

Excellent composition and bokeh. Since I'm not so much of a wildlife photo guy, I sometimes find the genre boring; but this is a really nice composition. Both the upward looking angle and the branch(?) in the birds mouth combine to give the bird a somewhat haughty air. And the adjacent stalk lends the whole thing balance. Very nice.

Great photo. I must admit that this style of photo is easy for me to like. Heavy contrast, beautiful highlights, symmetry, patterns.... well done.

Taken at sunset with my Rebel xti and 17-40L, Hoya polarizer.

Nice job! I like how the segment of fence adds visual interest and helps frame the photo. Also, the bokeh is beautifully smooth and the colours are very natural.

Very nice! I love the tones in the tractor. I find myself agreeing with J.A. that the blue wash of sky in the upper left perhaps detracts from the beautiful tonal gradations on the tractor? Perhaps some fill light on the lower left of the tractor? (just musing). But, very lovely photograph.

Very nice composition. Perhaps the highlight on the upper right cog distracts a little from some of the more subtle tones? But excellent.

This was taken at about 3am in very heavy fog (I had to use my shirt
to keep drying the camera and lens because they would become soaking
wet in about a minute or so. The hardest part was probably focusing
as my Rebel xti does not have a very bright viewfinder.

This is a B+W conversion of a colour photo done in the late afternoon
of a very cold, windy winters day
