WOW, Incredible shot, this is a wall hanger.
I am a GSP fan myself, I have a 13 yr old, I would love to get her to sit still long enough for a shot like this. Knowing that they leave us all too soon, this is one to really be proud of. I think you have captured this lady perfectly. I dont think anything could be done to make this more perfect.
Well done.

For some reason I didnt notice that branch up there until after I posted it here on PN and then I saw it. I thought about going back and taking it out but just havent gotten around to it. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment.

Now I really like this shot. I like the lighting of her face compared to the darkness of the background. This photo made me think of a young girl going out on a date, and as she walks out of the house into the dusk, mom is waving at her date waiting on the street, she is giving mom that "don't embarass me" look as the house light comes thru the door lighting her face. I may be way off but that was my first impression. Very nice job.

Maybe soften her skin just a touch, also the bright yellow light to the left is distracting. It looks as though the light on her face is sunlight reflected off a mirror. The light on her eyes and forehead have more of a golden glow than the light on her cheeks and chin. Was flash used at all? Nice shot however, she has really nice eyes.

Beautiful model, excellent light, great color mixture. I agree, I dont like the hand in the pocket but I am at a loss for what to do with them for this shot. My first thought was behind the back, then maybe just cropping up to the waist might be my suggestion. Also I am a little distracted by the blue spot at the upper left. I think this could be more in the middle of the background. The left is blue and the right is gray, if the blue would be in the middle right behind her head, then it would flow into gray going down. It looks kind of like her body is the divider of the color.
Just some thoughts.

Very nice shot, and I get what you are going for, but I would like to see just a touch more light on the dark side of the face, not enough to remove the hard shadows but just soften them a touch. I think you could keep the mystery that way while highlighting that side.
Just a thought.
Nice job. Matt

This is a nice shot, but I would like to see the cropping a little different putting her farther to the right of the frame, she is smack dab in the middle but I think if she was a little offset to the right, looking left like she is, that would really make this an excellent shot.
Just my 2 cents.

Cameron, Very nice portrait. I think the model herself is just right, the color and focus and lighting is excellent. I think though that the background is a little distracting. The large overexposed patch of background to the right of her face is quite distracting to me. I would like to see you darken that just a bit. Otherwise, I think this is an excellent shot.

Donn, this looks like a photo you would see on the cover of Outdoor Life or Field and Stream. Nice shot.
