I am running the 5400 on 10.8. It works wonderful, but I have to use Vuescan. I bought Vuescan Pro several years ago as the update are free forever.

Just thought I would throw in the fact that I have a D7000 as does a close friend of mine. I shoot with a 17-55 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 VRII and he shoots with a Tokina 12-24 2.8 and a Nikon 70-300. Neither of us have any autofocus issues that are not of our own doing. The cameras work perfectly and the vast majority of the images are tack sharp.

Find the Utilities folder in Applications. Open the Disk Utility. It can see the drive regardless of whether it is mounted or not. You will see an erase tab. It will show you the options of available formats that it will erase the drive. Pick Mac OS Extended (Journaled) if you are only going to use it on a Mac or pick the FAT option if you wish it to be universal.

I filed the first day also and still have recieved no conformation. Not complaining, just the way it is.

How are you able to track your batteries progress? Nikon did not even acknowledge that they received or processed my claim. I did mine online.

My new D7000 is also sporting a recalled battery. The worry is now that I have reported to Nikon and they verified my recall number, they give you no acknowledgment or a clue as to when the new one will be delivered. You must have the old one to hand over to the UPS person. i'll have to take my battery to work everyday now as that is the only place I can have it delivered.

Thank you for the info!

What has happened to the supply of Nikon EN-EL15 batteries? I just purchased a D7000 and was going to get an extra battery, but they seem out of stock everywhere.

Thats the Keychain asking for a password to make changes. Usually leaving it blank and clicking OK or just clicking cancel opens the application right up.

No problem whatsoever on Safari or Firefox on my Macs. Site is very snappy.

Toast is not needed, but Toast 11 runs perfectly and is extremely flexible. I don't know why someone would say it has serious flaws.

This filter is incredible. I have not found any method in PS or Raw that will do what it does with such ease.

I second the use of Hamrick's VueScan. It works great with my 5400.

My, hasn't this turned into a pleasant thread. Personal attacks are not called for and a more civil tone is.

I too have the 27"" i7 iMac and it is an awesome PS CS5 machine. I am running 16 gb ram and am very happy with it's performance.

I have had no problems with SEP 2.0 on my Mac. Neither slow downs or crashes. If I had not read this thread, I would not have known anyone was having issues.
