    Thanks for all the kind comments. Just one question what does FoD stand for, Iv'e done the usual Google search but can't find a meaning to fit. My favorite is "Female Orgasmic Disorder" 2nd favorite "Friend of Dorothy" the meaning of which surprised me. Obvious on reflection but I hadn't come across it before. Oh Duh!! just got it, depth of field.

    <p>After carrying around a Canon DSLR kit for a few years the X100S is revelation. Do I miss longer lenses yes sometimes, but not often. </p>
