The look of seeing the modifiers in the glasses is a trendier and edgier look that is not for everyone's taste. It's interesting to see on different sites that I post on, I receive different points of views. The right winged photo.net vs. ... , on the left,  I love it! Again thanks for everyones comments. 

since I can only post one a day, tomorrow I will post a second where here angle is slightly different. I appreciate your comments and opinions.

I wanted to capture the light source as large catchlights , in essence, in the glasses.  I knew eye detail was going to be lost and I think the end result worked out nicely.

I also contemplated going square, but as you said, the shadow was very important to the image as a whole.

Thank you so much for the critiques. When I arrived 'down the shore' and unpacked, the first thing I noticed were these interesting boat slips. I was like a child waiting for Christmas morning. I just waited and waited all day. I wanted the sun to set so I would get a nice long exposure to get the frozen water effect. I was very impatient. Originally I wanted somewhere around 15-30 second exposure. Ended up at 5 seconds. Turned out just right. Thanks again.
