1.
When I have bridge open with all the thumbnails the photos look sharp until i click on the thumbnail and the image changes - is it basicly showing me how the image should look ? I really want them to look sharp but am then dissapointed when i click the photo.

Can anyone tell me why this occurs as none of my images seem particulalry sharp ever, no matter what aperture or manual/auto focus - I use canon 400d with the lens that comes with it and 24-70 f.28 sigma

If anyone has any ideas and knows what I'm trying to get at I'd appreciate it if you could reply
Thanks
2.
Hi
Can anyone give me any advice on this?
I used to take photos for a band (I wont name them as people from the UK will have heard of them) and a band member had a biography out recently and used my photo on the back cover and in the book. The same photo was used - inside without a copyright or acknowledgment and on the back cover with it copyrighted to some other photographer. I wasn't even asked or told they were gonig to be used.
Somone said I should get an IP lawyer to send a letter to the publisher .
How much would you charge for the use of your photos if it is the same photo used once in side the book and as the only photo on the back cover?
I dont post here often but find these forums v.useful... so I hope I'm posting in the correct one.
I'd appreciate any advice.
Thanks
3.
Hi there
I have been using the 400d with sigma lenses24-70mm f2.8 and 70-200mm f.28, if I upgrade to a 5d or 5d mkII is it worth upgrading lenses to CANON to get the most out of my camera? or does it really make any difference? I know that sigma aren't as good as canon but is it really necessary to upgrade?
Thanks guys

 4.
Hi Everyone
I'm not a professional wedding photographer so I hope you guys dont mind me asking your advice.
I am shooting my friends wedding next month (I've only ever shot 2 before) on my canon 400d. I understand that the canon takes photos in 72dpi, however, I always understood that for optimum print quality photos should be in 300dpi? Is this correct?
Therefore if I shoot this wedding at 72dpi do I need to go into photoshop and change the image resolution to 300dpi in order to get good prints.? Does it really make a differnce or am I going about it the wrong way. What do the Canon users do?
I'd appreciate any help you could offer
Thanks
5.
Hi everyone
I have very basic understanding of all the techy stuff related to photography so I'm posting in the beginners section for now.
I'm about to enroll on a wedding photography weekend course as I want to gradually build up experience to make a living out of it. I've shot 2 weddings for friends already but want to step up my gear.
Someone suggested getting a 70-200mm f2.8 lens to help my wedding photography ( I only have the sigma 24-70mm f.2.8 which is limiting) but does it make a real difference with which version I buy - i.e tamron , Sigma or Canon. Would the images be sharper with a Canon?

If anyone could help, or suggest another lens that would be great
Thanks
Tasha
