1.
I am interested in buying a Sigma Aspherical 28-80mmD zoom macro lens off a friend. He used it on his Nikon N60 film camera. I have a Nikon D40 and I seem to have no problems with using it (manual only)except that I have to leave the aperture ring at 22. All others settings I get a display stating Lock lens aperture ring at minimum aperture (largest f/- number). Can anyone explain what this means and a way of correcting this.
Thank you. John P.

 2.
Thank you Alan. I checked out the link and found a lot of information. I now remember the camera. It was the Kowa seTr ( not Koma). This camera also came with the huge 4/2oo lens and case. The price was set at $45.00. After reading your reply and the link, I'm now not sure about purchasing it. I'm concerned about the leaf shutter. Going to have to give it some real thought. Thank you for your time. You have been a tremendous help. John P.

I'm debating on purchasing it.I have never heard of this company before, but I do know it's made in Japan.I have tried different web sites with little to no help. I want to give it to my Father-in-Law. Thanks guys.

 4.
Thank you Eric.... Your right, the MC-EU1 is a little high. I guess the self-timer is going to have to work now. lol. I never buy from eBay, Amazon etc.... But thank you very much for your time. John P.

 5.
I need to buy a shutter cable release for a Nikon Coolpiz D5700 camera. I'm not sure if they even make one for this camera. I have called a few camera shops with little help. Can someone please give me any information, at all, on this matter? Thank you in advance. John P.

 6.
Wow! I was just listening about him on NPR radio today. I even went to Barns&Noble's to look at his new book, RezaWAR+Peace. It was a little too expensive ($70.00) for me at this time of the year but, I will be sure to purchase it later. Max your link seems to be dead. I will try it again later. What a great opportunity to have been able to meet and talk with him. I will be looking for him in my area.
