This is a great photo, worthy of comment. I like the dynamic stop-action aspect. The fact that this bird's (name?) shape blends so well with the ragged perch is wonderful -- it grabs your attention, requiring a moment to understand what you're looking at. The patches of red in the bird's wings set everything off with the final contrast. All this with the perfect angle of light make a wonderful photo. Thanks for sharing.

Viesturs, I don't usually like this kind of stylized work but your photos are amazing! I have no idea how you're producing these kinds of images but you have mastered the technique and project a raw dark humerus perspective I enjoy very much. Clearly, you are more than just a photographer. Thanks for sharing.

This is an incredible shot! I've looked at your other photos and you seem to have a real knack for capturing the grandeur of these panoramas. Thanks for sharing!

A lot of people are shooting monochrome these days but don't seem to get what it's about -- you really got the contrasts and subtleties that make monochrome so valuable. Wonderful shot.

Remarkable -- work of art. I cannot suggest why this so attractive, except that you have a very good eye. It instantly grabs your attention.

Aside from the beautiful aesthetics of the shot, the vanishing point perspective really sucks you in. Your patience really paid off. 10 sec exposure... very nice.
