Wonderful detail and beautiful lighting in this most impressive image. The 18-200mm really shines here. Great shot. I certain hope that you print it, frame it, and hang it in a conspicuous place in your house.

Wonderful colors, textures, and shadows, and very well composed.

Wonderful lighting, composition, and processing. The gondolas and gondoliers are a superb addition here. A beautiful image.

Excellent point of view for capturing this beautiful bridge.

The colors are spectacular. The composition is perfect. Most importantly, the butterfly is sharply captured with the camera parallel to the wings. I think you ought to frame it!

Superb abstract with rich colors and tones. Very creative work. It's as if a painting is flying by. Compliments on this.

Superb detail and great action with a perfect crop. He or she is having a great time, and your image really shows it.

This is a colorful and well composed scene. I do have a reservation though. In my opinion, the gulls are a distraction. Two of the gulls look as if they are merging with buildings even though we know they are not. I would have waited until the gulls were gone and then taken the shot.

Gorgeous lighting and tones. A spectacular landscape. Congratulations.

Beautiful lighting and outstanding dynamic range in this breathtaking scene. However, the flowers in the foreground are overlapping and interfering with the reflection of the mountain. Perhaps shooting from a different point of view would have avoided this problem.

Tack-sharp with a beautiful bokeh. Terrific shot. What was your focal length with the Sigmonster?

This is an outstanding fairly wide angle composition, but I have a reservation. For some reason you shot the image at f/10. The result is that the image in full screen view is not totally sharp from front to back. For example, the canoe is somewhat soft, and so are the mountains. You would have done better to focus perhaps on the reflection and shoot at f/16 and maybe even try f/22 despite some diffraction. A very nice shot of Herbert Lake in any event.

The sharpness of this amazing image at 330mm and 1/15s suggests that it was shot on a tripod. I don't see how you could have done this hand held at this slow shutter speed even though the lens is VR unless your hands are absolutely rock steady. Could you verify this just out of curiosity? Thanks very much for posting this terrific shot.

I think it's taking an eye test. 1 or 2? :-) Enjoyed the humor.

Gorgeous foreground and perfect shutter speed. A magical image.

Stunning image. Perfectly exposed, sharp throughout, and excellent shutter speed. Very well done.

Beautiful image with wonderful tones, shadows, and colors.

I love the striking tones, colors, and side lighting in this beautifully composed image. You had a superb sky that really made this shot, and the bird flying by is an excellent bonus. This is a winner, and I would hang it.

As far as I'm concerned, the composition is perfect, and the colors, of course, are superb. However, given the great depth of this shot, I don't think f/11 gives you enough depth of field. For example, the first boat seems to have some blur in it. I would have preferred say f/16 to get a tack-sharp image from front to back. Clever use of your neutral density filter. A very lovely image.

A dramatic image with the red boat a strong anchor in the composition. Imagine no boats in the middle of the lake, however. They are a distraction to the image in my opinion. I would have waited until they had disappeared.

Outstanding color and details on the hummingbird. I only wish the beautifully colored background had been more out of focus. Very nice shot.
