    Dancers and Nun

          3

Another snapshot while driving with my favorite 135mm framer.

Real life on the street and a fictional(at least for the nun) behind

    the window.

What 's funny about the content of the photograph is that both these

directions in life require strict discipline of the body and mind.

You're always welcome to comment on it.Tks.

So much sadness in this photograph and it even looks as if the cat in its movement is trying to go back to a place that it lost.

Life can be a b.... sometime

  1. Hello Mick,

Hope you won't get mad but I don't see the subject of your photo which lacks effort on composition. You didn't take advantage of the bridge which could have directed the eyes towards the guy sitting and therefore given a line of force to your photo whose left frame limit would have been the far rigth palm tree.

The white sand made it harder on your exposure. As for the bent horizon, well...I'll try it again if possible.

And again just trying to be constructive and helpful.

    Cheers.

    Hi Kelly,

Kudos for being there and to get it as you saw it.I would have come closer to that flaming plant and removed any branches to make a more powerful rendition of that moment.

    Fall Leaves

          2

    Hi Claire,

Nice light you caught on these leaves but that's all I can see.

It lacks composition maybe due to your standing point. I would have looked around it to see if nature would give something more to compose with given that beautiful orangy light.

    Spartan walkway

          2

Part of that sandal was gently lit and again couldn't go unnoticed.

One of those things that get in your way but in a way that ...U can't

get away from without seeing it...Because of the Light, Because...

    the Light.

A larger view will be better I noticed.

Don't step away without, but you know what I 'm talking about.Tks

  2. Hey David,

Your lady-model has a stunning grace that shows even more in her pose and your capture.I do not know if other viewers felt that in the end wherever you start looking you get attracted by her face and look which command more light than the rest of her( by the way is it from lighting or post-production work?).

    Nice touch.

I will have to come back later to it cause I have a comment about the tension in her neck but it's not clear yet.

Last but not least of it. I like it.

Thanks for your comment on My Invitation door. Not too much leeway to straighten that distorsion on the door frame unless you got tips.

And...Any recommendation in lighting equipment(Not big the budget)to seriously start taking This kind of photograph?

    Bedtime it is

          2

Nothing particular besides one last before going to bed or something

to do with my relation to the lit scene. Sweet light sweet dreams

    maybe.

Take time too before bed-end time.Tks.

    From a Crowd

          1

Going back to what I loved the most about being in a crowd with a

camera, with a purpose. The Hunt. The Look. The Catch.

I chose the fashion category because She Got Style.

    Comments appreciated. Tks.

    Invitation

          2

I switch off the light and I had to go back down to get my camera. It

was there for me to catch. It was caught on E6 film but black and

white looks better as I feel.I won't take it again 'cause what you

see is what you get and what you take is sometime the best you can

    get.

A fugitive moment in your life not to be retaken again 'cause it's

    vain.

    Thanks for your comments

    Curious Flame

It's just one of these moments where you saw something, a fugitive

moment, a glimpse of what could be a vision or a visual and you just

want to make sure it was not just a dream but something that could

    just Be.

    Take your time.Tks

    Dawning hour

          3

The clock was glowing, the night was falling down and I was first at

the stop light. Another shot while driving through town.

    Take time to comment.Tks.

  3. Hello Gustavo,

There's a peaceful atmosphere in that photo. Best place for reading for sure.Nobody but her.It makes a nice tableau as a first approach. Just curious to know if you got any closer to deepen your study of these time and place. Hope so cause It looks full of possibilities.

There are some evidence of dodging that are hindering the image quality, but nothing that couldn't be undone.

    Cheers

I like it a lot and your greys are beautiful. nice tonality.

would have been nice to see the whole hands with beginnig of the thighs for it to respond to the volumes set with her breast.

It wouldn't compromise the intimacy since the veil would cover what is not to be disclose in your shot.7/7 it is.

    The End

          2

    hello Darjan,

Your image has an effective thougth provoking or narrative appeal.

The presence of that stoned cross that looks like the one you find in cemetery bears a symbolic that speaks for itself. probably in remembrance of someone who diasppeared at sea.

It is even confusing when you see that cross symbolizing the end at the feet of an ever changing door of a so open space as is the sea.A beginning... but an end here.

A lot of digressions possible on the same theme, but with the same blues.

Stone can't swim. It's really the end.

    Nice narrative.

Bigger file or bigger resolution needed for more clarity. If it's the same well eveything is said, so...

    Cheers.

    Hello Will,

As much as I would have loved to see more clarity in the background of your visual i have to first say that i Like your photograph in its conception and realization.

A three-layer photograph with an elemental clue leading you to the next layer and so on.

Reason why clarity is needed? To serve your vision and help the viewers (who could be so distracted by pixels that they wouldn't see the obvious). And you'll like it yourself much more.

Well thought and well composed and balanced visual.

    Big Ups Will.7/7.

    Cheers
