1.
This is a ten year old photo never seen by anyone but family. I thought now might be a good time to share it. I'm always amazed at how when everyone was fleeing ground zero NYC 's bravest kept rushing to the towers. God bless them and their families.
Eos 5 fujichrome velvia don't remember lens

00ZIhQ-396607584.jpg.e17a023f85ac20d83194aae4a5ac99ce.jpg

 2.
Vista is a resource hog and 2 gigs of memory is definitely not enough for the OS and photoshop to coexist smoothly. Buy more memory and if you plan on going to Cs5 8 gigs should be a minimum to run all the pretty features like content aware fill that adobe is showing off. I'm building a new system with 24 gigs of memory to future proof myself for Cs6 that will probably be coming out in 18 months

 3.
For what you paid for 3 580 's and trying to make them into studio lights you could have bought two alien bees with mini vagabonds and had real location lights. If you want to continue using the canons (i have 2 ) i would strongly recommend the cp e4 battery pack from canon then u can choose whatever 8 batteries you want. Use the battery pack on your key light and eneloops for fill, background or hair
4.
Not sure about the canon 5d,but on the 30d if you press the flash compensation button farthest to the right on top of the camera you can dial in flash compensation directly from the camera.this only works if no compensation is set on the flash unit.the amount of compensation you have applied will show up on the info screen when you review your photos.hope this helps you

 5.
Tyler i too live in brooklyn and feel your pain. i send e-6 to fuji labs usually 10 - 20 rolls at a time, placed in
mailers and then shipped in a small box to insure correct postage.for c-41 i use walgreens on myrtle ave,
processing only is under 4$ per roll and the students @ pratt university art class use them also (film is not
dead). after running around NY trying to find processing equipment with no luck, and already owning a minolta
elite 5400 2 scanner i found as others have noted that a decent scanner might be your best option. one more
thing the turnaround time @ that particular walgreens is a few hours. good luck with your project
