I like the shot; however, I would have moved what looks like a styrofoam cup out of the way in the lower portion of the pic and/or cropped out the rectangular object at the bottom. Nice color in the afternoon sun.

Very nice.

Our second son at around an hour old. This was my first attempt at
using close up filters. Elan IIE Canon 100-300 5.6L with a 1X Tiffen
close up filter, Fuji Neopan 1600 rated at 1250.

I can't believe they let me take a camera in the operating room.
Taken seconds after our second child was delivered by c-section.
Neopan 1600, Canon Elan IIE with 50mm 1.8 mk II.

I took this one of my son after he bumped into my wife and got
lipstick planted on his forehead. This happened on Mother's Day
morning.

I liked the gesture and expression on this Samoan entertainer's face
as he toyed with the crowd.

Wish I had my tripod on this one. No flash and handheld only lit by
the lights in the tunnels of the Catacombs in Paris. I like finding
off the track tourist spots rather than the normal monuments. The
Catacombs has miles of tunnels filled with skeletal remains. Let me
know what you think.

I thought this bullfight was a little more fair. Portugese
bullfighters tackle the bull head on. Let me know what you think of
this one.

Taken in the Czech Republic - this old man was playing a homemade
xylophone of glass afixed to a frame. I should have taken a whole
series of photos at different angles - alas this is the only one I got
even though he was amiable to having his photo taken. Of course I
tipped him.
The original photo had a big car behind the man. I thought that the
car was too distracting, so I managed to remove the car but wasn't
quite sure where to stop/start around the man's chin. Any tips you
can offer would be great.

Caught this image last summer of my son's swim coach in the "Coach's
race" held at the end of a community meet. Thought I'd share. Taken
with my old trusty but grindy 100-300 5.6L Comments are welcome.
Thanks.
