Thanks everyone for the feed back as I have learned more here, I guess now is to find out if the 450 or 405 polaroid back will work for my camera as I will pick up the camera this week.

Hello RT,
Thanks for the tips as I'm very green in the 4X5, I believe is a spring load? I dont have the exact model of the Sinar yet, it is still in the store waiting for new part. The price was right for a good condition camera at the time. Yes I will be using the FP-100C but I thought the polaroid 550 will work? Will the Polaroid 405 will work the spring load back?
Thanks

Picking up a 4X5 camera from a local store and would like to know if the Polaroid 550 film back will work on the 4X5 Camera using Fuji FP-100C? I'm new to the 4X5 format and love to hear your feed back.
Thank you everyone

Michael Mowery made a point! Charge him: $10, $50, $100, $200? Whatever money you can get. Again if you are charging the DJ for the photo, shouldn't the client get the percentage after all it is their photos.
John H ,thanks for the reminder of the model release since your client will need to know where it is going. Best of luck and I'm sure you will find your answer within.

John McCosh says it all! It is better to have a good relationship between artists, my 2 cents. Merry Christmas!

I totally agree to Anees! On a recent trip to Mexico we got one day ahead to scout locations and finding how to get to other resort as we did not stay at the same place as the couple. I wrote some of my destination tips here. http://bit.ly/YVOnrw

I have purchased a LG-BP06LU11 Blu Ray burner even though it is for PC; it worked fine with Mac and using Toast for Blu Ray burning.

You can use Premiere's warp stabilizer to fine tune the footage if you don't want to reshoot!

I'm a owner of Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 production premium, Vegas Pro 10 and Movie Edit 17 Pro (all with purchases for my studio for 2d/3d Stereoscopic HD video Media Production) I don't like to buy the software unless I very need them. When you say Final Cut Pro you must mean the latest Final Cut Pro X version as Apple has discontinued Final Cut Studio which is very disappointing as I have bought the software beginning of the year.
Each software does different work flow and again base your need? I need to put HD into blu ray and only way for me is using Encore from Adobe and DVD pro from Final Cut Studio does not support Blu ray. You can spend a lot of money before you know it! Right Software, Right Hardware and the time to learn all the softwares!
People is calling Final Cut Pro X is an upgrade to Imovie and you should have no problem learning the software but I don't see the software to burn Blu-ray with Final Cut Pro X, I can be wrong! As a photographer myself I have shoot video over 25 years and editing has not been new to me, the changing of digital media has increased better video quality and bigger files! Look like you are a Mac user like I'm, if you don't want to switch to PC try out Final Cut Pro X or the Adobe Suite 5.5. Again I like using Adobe suite which has all the programs working together for my need, HD authoring tools to burn Blu Ray.

It is very nice work, has the mood. Only thing I notice is the over exposure on her left arm which caused her arm looking very thin like an alien. If you can tone down the yellow on her arm and hopefully bringing back some details.

Thanks Jack, I knew about the Magic lantern year ago but didn't know they worked on the exposure. Btw they don't have the exposure fix for 7d but with the 5D, thanks anyhow. Anyone takes on this topic?

-

I have a tough time monitor the 7D exposure when I'm shooting, the 5D Mark II has a histogram I can monitor but the histogram will not stay on for 7D. Anyone can help, thanks for reading.

@Rafael S well said!
If you think bringing a camera to document what the Hired photographer miss out, think for a moment if you have twenty guests think this way, who need the hire photographer for? Maybe we all be mounting a camera on our forehead so we don't miss the special moment. This bring me back to the question, do you answer a business call in the public washroom? If yes then it must be a 911 call!
Anyway, taking photos behind the Hired photographer can be very annoying, imagine someone is chewing gum while you are speaking. You might not see their faces but the annoying sound just not Professional. Switch shoes with the hire photographer for a moment! Think of this hire photographer needs to make a living so PLEASE let him or her do the work!

Thank you so much everyone!

Eric thanks. Lucky you because the Canon 580 ex II has a strong signal therefore PW send out a sock for the client but it did not work for me at the time. Hopefully this week I will do some test and upgrade if it will disappoint me again! Anyone on the Canon user?

Minolta lens mount expect advice please, thanks.

I have an old lens but someone has mounted a different lens mount in the back, I was told it was a Minolta mount but doing photo research on the web comes out short since there some similar but the small notch is located on the left side instead on the right side on my mount. Can anyone suggest it is indeed a Minolta mount; I will need an adaptor to go with my Eos. Thank you for the help everyone.
