Sometimes, dead-centering something (in this case the person) is the right thing to do! Great Shot!

Another interesting perepctive can be gotten by taking the picture head-on, in addition to the angle that you have shot this picture with. Great Job!

Welcome to BW photography! I am certainly no expert, but you might want to give yourself an assignment or two. For example, take some BW pictures of the guitar, develop and post a few. That would give us some more pictures to critique (i.e., make constructive comments on). Also, you might want to take a picture of the guitar outside with no flash. That way, viewers will have some point of reference from which to evaluate your composition, focus, exposure, etc. It's hard to tell (at least for me) whether the above picture was taken with a flash or with available light. In any case, best wishes and keep shootin!

This is just downright funny!

Move a little to the right and then down. This will get the leaf that is in the foreground out of the way. This will also get all of the lemon into the frame. Also, if you use a tripod, you might be able to stop the lens down a little more and get all of the lemon's surface into focus. A slight underexposure might also yield more saturated colors.

As it stands, this photo has a wonder sense of perspective that would be lost with less sky.
