1.
Hey all,
Anyone familiar with this brand of light? I am looking at the Style 400BX system and wanted to know if it is as well built as advertised. Can I pop off a thousand shots without these lights failing? I know they are cheap, but I keep hearing about how these are really some nice lights. Good investment?

Thanks

 2.
Does anyone have any experience with these strobes? Are they worth the money? How do they stand up to intense usage? Are they as good as speedatron or profoto equipment?

How about alien bees? Same set of questions.

Im looking to get as much info from people who have actually used these pieces of equipment before I buy.

Thanks

 3.
I need some advice!! Ive been in and around studios for a while, but im now ready to make a purchase of some real equipment, what is the best bang for the buck. Im tired of cheap stuff failing on the job, but at the same time I'm not made of money, what is the best way to go?

I dont need major power, but I do want the most flexible solution.

Thanks in advance!!

 4. Getting a blue cast in the evening or in open shade is common. One way to remedy this is by over exposing a stop to a stop and a half (I would bracket a bit). If you were shooting with an "auto" setting (ie: Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, or Program) the cameras exposure is going to fluctuate slightly from shot to shot based on what the camera is seeing. Try shooting on Manual to maintain a constant look
