Seth, I don't know how you've created this miage but it looks lovely - great mix of colours, and I'd be happy to have it on my wall!

I thought long and hard about going BW on this, but the colours kind
of caught my eye so decided to go colour on it. I also thought about
cropping the photo but felt that the sense of location would be lost
too much - i.e. manly type blokes wouldn't feel comfortable
massaging each other in private, let alone in the street....

I can really feel the heat in this picture - and doesn't she look pi55ed off with it?!!? My inital thought was to take some of the redness out at the colour saturation looks high.....BUT then I remember the colour of my kids when we're out on hot sweaty days and I think you've captured the feeling well. Nice shot.

Well, I caught this man on camera yesterday when I leapt out of car
in Brighton rush hour traffic. After I photographed him I went over
to him for a chat and he kept telling me that life is so unfair. He
seemed to be going through a bad patch. He then played a sad tune
for me so I could take another picture!

You know, sometimes I don't know what category to put a photo under.
This could be street, but then it could be a portrait or maybe under
children!

Would appreciate any comments on this. How does it work as a mono
image from point of view of tones? I know perhaps the subject matter
might be a bit boring, but I'm still learning after all these years.
Any help at all would be great. Cheers. Pete

Hi. I submitted thos picture for critique yesterday, but wasn't
happy witht he image brightness, and when I tried to replace it I
somehow uploaded a completely different picture. Id really
appreciate some comments on this image. The only post precessing has
been to increase brightness level and correct the white balance - it
was taken early evening, facing into the sun (which was behind the
boarding). The light illuminating the subject is the sunlight
reflected in the windows of a building on my side of the street.
Thanks in adance.

Taken early this evening - one of my first pictures with my
new "used" Canon 10D. Sunlight was behind the boarding, with subject
and boarding illuminated from the front by reflection of sun in
windows of building on my side of the street. I just liked the
colours of the boarding and so waited a moment for a suitable
subject to come along!
