THIS</a> could be one of the reasons why prices are bloated....

*Richard - that is very nice. Yes please I would appreciate that very much. Let me know how much plus shipping to Hong Kong. I'm not sure how I'm going to send you the money though. Can I pay you thru paypal? If you want something from Hong Kong let me know and we'll trade.
*Mark Thomas - actually that's exactly the one I bought and it is not the same meter he's selling now.
You see I bought a lot of stuff from him, a nice Contaflex Super BC which is in good condition, vitomatic IIa, balda baldix - had to repair it myself but it's okay it's not a biggie, a nettar, and 10 other more cameras, filters, hoods, lenses, etc, etc. they're all fine until now. I was a bit shocked actually when I opened the box and saw the meter in a terrible condition I did not expected that all. I guess my luck have run out.
He offered a withdrawal but I'm not accepting it. It would not be right. I am not bidding for any of his items anymore. There are other polite and honest sellers out there. Goodbye Mr. Rocky!!!

Wow that's nice Michael I wish I could accept it but I live in Hong Kong. Thanks very much for the offer.

I bought a lightmeter from him listed as "IN THIS LOT I OFFER AN ITEM IN EXC
CONDITION .THIS IS A WORKING ITEM .THIS IS IN EXC COSMETIC CONDITION " and
he sent me a lightmeter that is not working and with a broken glass . The item was
wrapped with a thick roll of bubble wrap probably he thought for me to think that
it's been damaged while in transit. The thing is, he forgot to wrap the pieces of
broken glass with the lightmeter and the box was not deformed at all. WHAT A
SCAM!!!
He called me a liar while in fact he is the liar. He doesn't have a good reputation in
ebay world so I guess I should not be surprised. It's sad 'coz I bought a lot of stuff
from the guy and everything was fine then suddenly he sent me this useless item.
I emailed him but never replied so I filed a dispute in Paypal. Paypal wants me to
return the item through an online trackable shipping that would cost me US$59 just
to return a useless item that cost me $28. So I gave the man a negative and of
course he retaliated and called me a liar.

Thank you so much Mr. Clayton for your instructions. The winder was misaligned. I did it! I fixed it!!! Thanks to you!! The rangefinder is not budging, I think I can live with it.

The camera is the same with this except mine has 2.9/75 c baltar.

I have acquired a Balda Baldix from ebay with a film stucked in it. I can't
seem to pull up the film advance to release the film. I can see that there is
one little screw missing by the film advance knob. I guess the previous owner
tried to fix it himself. I would like to have it a go myself if anybody out
there can help me, otherwise I'll take it to a repairman. Also the rangefinder
is a bit off vertically.

Wow!!! I thought I got a good one. Thanks for the link Jackey, it's great. I'm gonna go fix it now.
Evan thanks, I'll find out about your guy.
Thank you all for your response and help!!!

Thanks everyone!!! I already got stainless steel ones(35 and 120) and a plastic universal one from ebay, much much cheaper.
No Joop, I'm very new in photography.

It's the first time I found interesting stuff there. I will certainly walk by there again. A Rolleiflex!!! wow that's sweet!!! Here's a photo of the lens:

I bought this lens from an old lady in the street of Hong kong by Hollywood
Road together with a Nikon FE(manual works) and 3 expired Kodak TMax films for
HK50, that's about US$6.25. The glass is excellent but the blades are stuck. I
would like to diassemble and fix it. I've diassembled Minolta Rokkor lenses
before and was able to assemble them back with ease(with the help of a manual
of course). Does anybody know if it's not that easy than I think it is. Also,
would you suggest what body should I look for to get for it to be used.

I would like to learn how to develop my own films (B & W) but haven't got the
equipment to do it yet. Does anybody know where to find home developing kits in
Hong Kong? I have asked around at the shops in Stanley Street but nobody seems
to know where. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

Oh my ..... I can't believe it. I thought maybe I did not put any of the batteries the wrong way. So, I just put back the batteries in like I did the first time and after three seconds(no sound, no light) smoke started to come out right where the on and off switch hole.

I just acquired a Vivitar Auto Thyristor 2800 flash from ebay and tested it
today. Put in 4 alkaline batteries in, turned it on, heard a whinging sounds
for three seconds then a big pop, then the burnt smell. I think I put one or
two batteries the wrong way. Is it dead??? HELP!!!

Thank you all very much for your time!!!!

I have just acquired one of these cameras with film in it. You could see number
5 thru the red window at the back. I would like to finish up the film but I
think the lens is missing. I have found pictures of the same camera in the net
and it looks like some of them have lenses. I don't know , help!!! I really
would like to use and play with this toy. Mine have the kodak ball bearing
shutter.
