  1. Hi David, Super timing, lovely capture. It has it all from an action perspective - just the right amount of motion in the wings, food subject, legs down, good background and cropping. Looks as though a little noise has set in from high ISO or cropping but that does not detract from the action (I guess these things can go with the practical territory of shots like this, they certainly do with my work). Great shot. Many thanks for sharing.
  2. Hi David, very eye catching capture. I love the clarity of the nose, eyes and horns compared to the periphery of the image, The green of the foliage also appeals. Its just a shame the mouth is obscured, but that's being ultra fussy. All in all an excellent capture. Thank you for sharing.

Hello Ata, good subject, good composition and exposure but for me the slightly out of focus foreground and background is a distraction. In the details for this photograph you do not state the F stop used. For me - a tripod, a high F stop (32), focusing a third at the most into the picture and a wide-angled lens (I am guessing around 20mm in 35 mm format)and a little cropping to get the portrait proportions - would have done the job nicely. Regards Neil.

Nikolay, Very good IR, for me the branch in the foreground, the sky and the reflection makes this picture. From my own limited IR experience I know exposure is difficult but it would have been good to see a bit more detail in the foreground right but that may have pushed the main tree line exposure too far. All in all a good capture. Thank you for sharing.

Super capture of unusual cloud formation and amazing colours. Shame about the distracting foreground elements (street light etc.).
