This is an excellent photograph, but I do not see why the photographer insists the background blur is due to full aperture. It is clearly visible in the camera left arm of the girl some area left unblurred.

This is not a good photo. Look, the cropping is bad, there is no expression, no movement, nothing to suggest a dance. I am a dancer and dance photographer, and have seen lots of dance photographs. This is not one of them.
  1. I didn't do much sharpening, it might look a bit soft. I like it that

way for the water, giving it a soft, 'mild' look... Yes the sky does

not have the 1/3rd positioning but then I am perfectly ok with that,

bringing the water to a bit more prominent role and accentuating the

    textures.

Nice lighting, good tonality. A little burn on the face would be better, like on his left cheek. I am also not very crazy about his shoulder, if he was leaning back a bit, that shoulder line would be lower. Overall very nice.

I think this is a very nice photo. It can be pumped by increasing saturation/contrast a bit, and I think there is a slight haze to it. I also wish I could see the left arm. Overall a nice capture.
  2. I do wedding photography, but this was not a wedding I was shooting.

I was just walking around taking pics t the park, and noticed a

wedding shoot. The photographers left early and went to the

reception, and I just could not help but notice the wonderful

backlighting on this gorgeous bride. This is one of the 3 pictures I

    took that day.
