<p>Actually I have both MK1 and MK2 in front of me before i will give the MK2 back to friend. I have recently photographed some urban pictures while swapping them between DSLR EOS 50D body and my old EOS 300 SLR cameras. And it is fair to say that the MK2 is a piece of crap which is a step backwards in technology. The picture above shows, from left, the MK2 and MK1 and it shows literally which one should be predessor and succesor. The MK2 focuses as it wants, it is much more noisy and generally acts like untrained crazy dog. When you use the MK1 you feel its quality and reliability, really and truly. The MK2 is a plastic-fantastic crap created by marketing department, not by engineers. <p>I have already recovered a roll of AGFA 400 ASA 27 exp. film from little tiny Agfa Lebox. The simpliest way to recover without darkroom is to take all 27 pictures with lens covered and then just remove film, following notes on camera. In polish Carrefour there are Kodak Flash single use cameras almost twice cheaper than 400 ASA film in the same place.</p>

I adore this lens, both in color and BW.

I use both Pionyr, polish Druh and Pouva Start. They're the same family, with collapsible lens part. The results are awesome.<div></div>

The Leica IV prototype was later continued as Zorki 3 and 4 more than Leica M3 I think. I wait for your opinions guys.

I think there's too much mess about average and not interesting picture. So what, th ehell, is more important? Picture or equipment?

The number of lenses and equipment indicates you were going to prepare to any photo equipment show or fair rather than photograph a lecture. I still believe your post was a good joke. You probably gone crazy. Show us the pictures. BTW. Do you take 8 taxi cars at once?

What is so good? The name Leica on top plate = 75% of it. This one for $10 works the same way http://aukcja.onet.pl/show_item.php?item=239269775 and everything fits.

It is tiny, little, in excellent condition (even too good!). And the lens has never been removed. I have to do it with use migrating oil. In Poland I will use popular WD-40 liquid.

 

The uncoated lens works as well in colour and B&W. Since I have this camera, while them both in my bag, i repeat every important picture after taking it with the digital. And the most exciting i to go hounting having only this tiny Leica in my pocket.

I started to use Leica II from 1938 with Elmar 50/3,5. Just to check if the shutter is working i used some cheapest 35mm color films. The result will be probably stunning because of non-coated lens. Good sharpness and low contrast...
